With a background in Psychology and expertise in teaching Mindfulness and Meditation to children, Nova Eden is an advocate for instilling positive mental health in young minds. A passionate educator, public speaker, and expert in children's health and well-being, she specializes in digital wellness and the impact of digital media on young people. Nova is dedicated to helping parents and schools safeguard children from the negative effects of modern technology.


Nova is a driving force behind the Smartphone Free Childhood movement, spearheading the transformation of Barnet into the first UK borough to achieve a complete smartphone-free policy across all its schools. As the Regional Leader for North London, she is now committed to broadening the initiative's impact, providing strategic guidance and support to schools and parents throughout the UK. Nova’s visionary leadership has been pivotal in propelling the Smartphone Free Childhood campaign nationally. 


Nova delivers powerful and impactful talks for parents, advocating for delaying smartphone and social media use in young children. Her sessions explore the effects of algorithms, screen addiction, and online content on mental health and identity, while offering strategies for healthier digital habits. Through dynamic parent talks, interactive students workshops, and collaborations with educational leaders, Nova emphasizes the important role parents and schools play in promoting a balanced and healthy relationship with technology.
